The software projects on this website
are open for design and development collaboration. That said,
there are probably some things you should know if you're interested
in getting involved.
Design
Let me start off by saying that I am not a designer. Nearly all
of the graphics on this site and in the various projects available
here have been made by other people. (With the exception of the
graphics in Kitomaza, but that's one of the main reasons that game
was purposefully retro!) In terms of design contributions, I'm
particulary interested in people skilled in making 2d or 3d
animations in Flash, Maya, or 3ds Max. If that sounds like you,
then please just send me an email introducing yourself, what you'd
like to contribute to, and how you'd like to contribute.
Development
The software on this site is currently written in BlitzPlus,
JavaScript, and Perl. There are also other projects already in
development that are being written in BlitxMax and Java. And,
future projects may include C/C++, Python, and Ruby. In other
words, there are really a lot of opportunities for programmers from
all sorts of different backgrounds to get involved. I'm always on
the lookout for people who are interested in doing bug fixes,
feature additions, and ports, plus I'm in serious need of Mac
developers. Of course, there's also plenty of room for sharing the
core development responsibilities on any of these projects. So, if
any of this sounds good to you, please just send me an email
introducing yourself, what you'd like to contribute to, and how
you'd like to contribute.
