Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: No. Donations are
made strictly out of the goodness of your heart. I do truly
appreciate your generosity, and you will be sent to a nice
"thank you" screen after you've made your donation, but donations
made here can't help you on your taxes.

Q: Will I be recognized for my donation?
A: Unless you
specifically include your name and some sort of contact
information (i.e. an email address) on the donation screen,
then, no. All donations are made anonymously. If you do
include a way to be contacted, then at the very least, you'll
receive a personalized thank you letter.

Q: Can I really tell you how to spend my donation?
A: Yes . . . and no.
All donations should be considered no-strings-attached gifts.
However, if you request that your donation be used toward
a specific goal (say, bug fixes), I'll make every
reasonable effort to make sure that's how your money is spent.

Q: Can I buy my way into the credits of something?
A: Not really. Almost
every project on this website is open for collaboration. So,
if you're a developer, designer, or believe you have some way
to contribute to the content,
contact me. If you
do contribute in that way, you'll definitely be included in
the credits. If you make a significant financial contribution
to a specific project, then it's very likely you'll get
credit in the project — but it's not guaranteed. However,
if I begin receiving significant contributions, then I may
very well add a sponsors page where you will be
recognized for your support.
